Today, training is carried out for Security Guard personnel working in Puerto Corinto, with the aim of strengthening the security capacities established in the port, in compliance with the international PBIP Code, established by the IMO, training led by the head of port security, Mr. Nery Sánchez.

Nicaragua has 5 certified ports (since July 2004) as Safe Ports granted by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), in which the implementation of the INTERNATIONAL PBIP Code has been implemented.

Today began the course of Project Management organized by ALAS (Latin American Security Association) in Managua Nicaragua with a duration of 3 consecutive days, as part of the development and professional growth of Servipro attended the event by Eng. Servipro present at the VI OPIP meeting (port facility security officers) to be held on February 21, 22 and 23 in Managua Nicaragua, an activity that has been carried out since 2013.

Event during which new measures are evaluated and established to strengthen the security of safe havens, advances and future challenges to comply with the Code for the Security of Ships and Port Facilities (ISPS), Nicaragua has six certified ports, which highlight the country as the third safest country, an achievement recognized and provided according to the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
